Permanent Calendar

120,00 VAT included
Representation of the course of the year in this permanent calendar full of details. Made up of 60 pieces with 7 holes, which are grouped into 12 sectors, one for each month of the year. We thus have a composition of days, weeks and months, where the passage of time is symbolized first with the spikes that are nailed for each day of the week and then, turning the weeks that have already passed, that change their color from the obverse to a color of natural wood on its back. Each season is represented in the set of pieces, as a time already past. Based on The Cosmic Education of María Montessori and the Waldorf pedagogy theory of color, this is, without a doubt, a unique piece both for its pedagogical possibilities and for its aesthetic value.

Monarch butterfly life cycle

9,95 VAT included
Scientific name: Danaus plexippus Small striped caterpillars emerge from the almost invisible eggs. They immediately begin feeding on the surrounding milkweed leaves, storing food for the transition to come. After two weeks, they form a chrysalis, from which a monarch butterfly emerges after another two weeks. Thanks to its bright orange and black coloration, the monarch is one of the best-known species of butterflies. Their surprising transition is shown in this four-part life cycle. The newly emerged caterpillars are black, white, and yellow, a stark contrast to the emerald chrysalis that follows. The finer colors, however, are reserved for the adult monarch butterfly, which measures almost 9cm from the tip of one wing to the tip of the other wing. The figures in this set of 4 miniatures are perfect Montessori toys for lessons that detail the biological processes and life cycles of animals. The life cycle of a monarch butterfly is part of the Safariology® collection from Safari Ltd®. All Safari Ltd® products are non-toxic and BPA-free *. * Bisphenol A.

Life cycle of a mosquito

9,95 VAT included
Scientific name: Culicidae Mosquitoes are born in water, where they lay their eggs in floating rafts. The emerging larvae feed on organic material in the water as they pupate.
